Description

Avista is a dynamic disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families. We have 3 network teams in Blanchardstown, Blakestown & Cabra. You will be joining dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary teams with excellent access to supervision and support from the team. The successful candidates will be required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provides services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Minimum Requirements

1. A degree in clinical speech and language therapy
2. Up to date CORU registration
3. Dysphagia training
4. A minimum of 3 years work experience as a SLT
5. A minimum of 6 – 12 months experience working as a SLT in paediatric disability
6. Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
7. Full Clean Driving licence and use of a car
8. Experience working with children/young people with complex disabilities and/or Autism
9. Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team
