Overview National Talent Acquisition Manager @ McGrathNicol – Melbourne, Australia. McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, helping businesses improve performance, manage risk, and achieve stability and growth. We are seeking an adept Senior Manager to join our Deals team, based in Melbourne. You will primarily manage buy and sell side financial due diligence engagements, with opportunities to work on other assignments across our Deals practice including M&A lead advisory, valuations, financial modelling and purchase price accounting.
Our Deals team provides corporate and private equity clients with quality, independent and objective M&A transaction advice.
Responsibilities Oversee buy and sell side projects, with a focus on financial due diligence reports and related services e.g. databooks, forecast models and review of deal contracts.
Apply industry and market expertise to proactively address deal issues.
Conduct and supervise financial and commercial analyses to inform key decisions and recommendations.
Develop and design financial models and reporting protocols.
Engage with crucial stakeholders, including clients, target management and investors.
Mentor and foster the professional development of junior team members.
Who you are CA qualified with at least 6 years’ experience, of which 3–4 years is focused experience in financial due diligence or Corporate Finance, preferably within a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
Exemplary attention to detail and superior communication skills (written and verbal).
Showcase outstanding presentation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Possess commercial acumen with a strong team-oriented approach.
Demonstrate a commitment to achieving positive client outcomes.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
