Overview This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The sponsoring group for this scheme is Longford Town Suburbs CLG and the participant will be based in a charity shop in Longford town.
Responsibilities Deliver a high standard of customer service to customers at all times, and be efficient and courteous at all times.
Deal responsibly with customer complaints.
Assist the manager to merchandise the shop in order to make best use of the space available.
Ensure the shelves are appropriately stocked with merchandise, and that merchandise is displayed in accordance with the shop's policy, clearly labelled and priced.
Ensure that stock is in good, saleable condition and that the shop and stock room are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Operate the till and handle cash in strict compliance with company policy, and record all transactions correctly on the cash register.
