Senior Speech and Language Therapist - CDNT

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Cavan. As a senior member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing services to children and families within the region.

Job Summary

The post holder will provide a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention, as well as clinical and performance supervision. The role will involve working with children aged 0-18 years with various disabilities, including physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality speech and language therapy service to children and families within the region.
  • Conduct assessments and diagnostics to identify communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills.
  • Supervise and support less experienced therapists to ensure consistent high standards.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification and CORU registration.
  • Full driving license and access to a car.
  • Minimum 3 years' postgraduate experience, with at least 2 years working in paediatrics.
