The Role
We are looking for a results-focused Regulatory & Data Protection Analyst to support the growing demands of our expanding businesses. The ideal candidate will be someone with experience working in a Regulated Industry (energy, broadband or telecoms). Previous experience in regulation, data protection or compliance would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse regulatory requirements and assess business impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliance solutions efficiently.
- Support GDPR compliance and review marketing for regulatory adherence.
- Maintain risk registers and coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Conduct compliance audits and provide regulatory training.
- Develop internal policies, respond to consultations, and represent the company in forums.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across all policy areas.
- Balance regulatory obligations with commercial priorities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- CIPP/E Certification or a Degree in law, business systems, economics, law, or energy-related fields, highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data protection, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and work across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply policy and regulations to business processes.
- Skilled in researching new areas and delivering actionable solutions.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
