Trade Counter Sales Assistant: Salary: €29000-€ 34500 depending on experience. BOTH PART AND FULL TIME AVAILABLE, Salary will be on a pro rata bases. Hours: Full time position are 42hour weeks, Part-time positions will vary depending on the applicant. The position to be filled is that of a Sales Assistant role, covering the trade counter and store in one of our busy plumbing supply stores, located in Co. Cavan. Prospective candidates must be willing to travel, as training will take place in our Carrick-on-Shannon branch. The prospective candidates and must be capable of building a good rapport with the general public and company customers. They must be well presented and enthusiastic. Both full and part time positions available. The role will involve the following: Assist customers to find the right products for their needs, Process sales transaction accurately and efficiently, Maintain a clean and organized work environment, Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business. The ideal candidate should have the following; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work in a team environment but also on their own initiative Experience and/or knowledge with Plumbing and Heating supplies a bonus but not essential Previous sales or customer service experience an advantage Has previously worked/trained in the plumbing trade or worked on a trade counter selling plumbing supplies also an advantage.
