ProSource Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering consultancy delivering energy-efficient MEP solutions across commercial, educational, industrial, and institutional projects. Youll contribute to design phases from concept through to handover, collaborating closely with other disciplines and supporting high-quality, sustainable outcomes. Duties Design and specify electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, controls, earthing, and secondary systems. Perform calculations, load assessments, fault studies, and schematic drafting. Interface with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to coordinate services. Review and interpret design briefs, client requirements, and regulatory standards. Prepare detailed electrical drawings, equipment schedules, and technical documentation. Support on-site inspections, reviews, and troubleshooting during construction. Assist senior engineers and mentor junior staff where applicable. Required Skills & Experience Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. 37 years practical experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment. Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, simulation tools). Strong understanding of electrical standards, codes, and regulations. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage workload, and deliver to deadlines. Keen interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design.
