Databases Cloud Support Engineer- Portuguese Speaker

Key Responsibilities:
* Learn and use groundbreaking technologies.
* Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer needs.
* Interact with leading engineers and partner with Amazon Web Services teams.
* Leverage customer support experience to improve AWS services.
* Drive customer communication during critical events.
* Improve support-related processes and customer technical support experience.
* Write tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for developers.
* Work on complex customer problems and Amazon database technologies like Amazon Aurora, DocumentDB, and Database Migration Services.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
* Solve customer cases through various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat.
* Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques and drive customer interactions to resolve issues.
* Coach/mentor new hires, develop training, and partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives.

Qualifications:
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
* Good knowledge/experience in administration, troubleshooting, and basic OS and Networking database issues.
* Knowledge of Database engines, such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Aurora.
* Experience performing basic optimization of databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2-4 years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge/experience in Database troubleshooting, performance tuning, and setting up monitoring/alarming for production DB environments.
* Experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak.
