Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our Sustainability Consultancy Team, working on innovative projects with industry experts as part of PM Group's world leading multi-discipline team.

Our vision is to be a highly valued and creative partner, building a more sustainable world with our clients. As we expand our Environment & Sustainability team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to enhance our growing team.

Responsibilities

We need someone who can:

  • Manage sustainability projects from concept to completion
  • Undertake LEED and/or BREEAM assessments across commercial and industrial schemes
  • Understand and apply current and proposed sustainability legislation (Building and Planning regulations)
  • Develop and manage client relationships (internally and externally)
  • Prepare technical reports and other related documents
  • Candidates should also note any relevant experience and knowledge of services such as Climate risk assessment, Building life-cycle assessments, Building physics simulation modelling, NZEB, Decarbonisation strategies, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design strategies, Building Energy Management Assessment, Sustainability master planning, Environmental Planning, Impact Assessments, and Regulatory Permitting.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 NQF) in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, or Sustainability-related subject
  • Qualifications in LEED AP BD&C, LEED AP ID+C, BREEAM Assessor, or BREEAM AP would be advantageous
  • At least 5 years' experience as a sustainability consultant or related position
  • A minimum of 2-3 projects completed through to certification
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Project engineering and management skills
  • A proven track record of working independently
