The company also offers consultations and assistance. You will be a vital part of the purchasing and order management team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. Your responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, maintaining up-to-date and accurate pricing, managing product information and providing comprehensive administrative support to the Category Manager. Responsibilities Enter purchase and customer orders accurately into the system. Prepare and manage spreadsheets for system uploads, ensuring data accuracy. Maintain current pricing information and update system records as needed. Create and manage new product codes within the system. Reconcile accounts by reviewing back orders with suppliers. Review supplier stock lists and select required items. Handle small contract customer orders by verifying stock availability and providing accurate pricing. Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies raised by the accounts team. Requirements Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong numerical skills and advanced Excel capabilities. Skilled at managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
