Dublin, Ireland Stripe Full time

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Stripe users need to preserve and improve their standing on Stripe in order to maintain Stripe’s high standard of regulatory compliance. An excellent remediation experience is vital to ensure users can meet regulatory compliance within acceptable timeframes. The difference between a good UX and a poor UX means less disruptions to user accounts, less frustration to users and reduced support requests. Maintaining regulatory compliance is important for Stripe to maintain our relationships with financial and risk partners. What you’ll do As an engineer on the Remediations User Experience team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build innovative features and products that enhance our users ability to remediate, which is critical for users to maintain their regulatory standing on Stripe. While you'll have a frontend focus you will also drive projects with multiple backend dependencies ensuring everything works together to deliver a high quality user experience. The Remediations User Experience team is a new team based in Dublin, which means ample opportunity for impact and growth. Responsibilities - Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end. - Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and products. - Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter. - Build elegant user experiences that enable merchants to run and scale their businesses on top of Stripe. - Contribute to the design and architecture of the next generation of Stripe’s infrastructure, to meet the high growth needs of our company and customers for years to come. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. - 2-6 years of industry software engineering experience (does not include internships nor includes co-ops) - Proficiency in Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), TS, HTML, CSS. - A passion for performance and optimizing load times for improved user experience - Willing to dive into different areas on occasion such as writing custom queries to analyze experiment results. - Strong collaboration skills, can work across workstreams within your team and contribute to your peers’ success - Have the ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy, responsibility, and think of yourself as entrepreneurial - Interest in working across varying technologies to solve problems and delight both internal and external users Preferred qualifications - Experience working in high-growth teams similar to Stripe. - Experience building financial systems or tools for financial experts. Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in‑person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible. The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €83,200 - €124,800. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends. At Stripe, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. At Stripe, we welcome diverse perspectives and people who think rigorously and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. Join us. #J-18808-Ljbffr
