Access Talent Group are working with one of Ireland's Specialist Electrical Engineering Companies who are currently seeking an experienced (3+ years) Commissioning & Design Engineer to join their expanding teams in Cork, Dublin or Galway to manage the design and pre-commissioning of TSO/DSO stations and associated IPP substations nationwide.

This position is a permanent role, so job security is guaranteed This role is available for an immediate start. You will be embedded into the team straight away and will be able to get stuck into your work from the get-go.

The successful candidate will have experience in an Electrical Engineering role, within construction. You will also be a people-person, able to communicate effectively, and work well both independently and within a team.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in a similar substation design or commissioning role
- Experience in developing Electrical Schematics using AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar
- Experience in developing equipment layouts using AutoCAD, Primtech or similar
- Experience in Electrical Power Systems Study software such as ERACS, ETAP, SKM or similar an advantage but not essential

Familiarity with ESB/Eirgrid Design Requirements an advantage but not essential.
