Carne is now recruiting for a Financial Reporting Associate as part of the Financial Reporting team. Ideal candidates will be ambitious professionals who are seeking to build their careers in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar

A professional qualification in accountancy would be advantageous

Prior Financial Reporting experience – in particular, reviews of Financial Statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures preferable

Proficiency using MS Office applications

Genuine interest in working in the funds industry

Responsibilities

Review of interim and year-end Financial Statements covering a range of structures including UCITS and AIF products across a number of jurisdictions

Engage with Administrators as part of the Financial Statements process and interact internally with each client Account Manager to ensure identified issues are addressed

Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform

Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements

Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procedures as part of the team’s processes when required

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers, and administrators, to ensure clear lines of communication

Adapt to new tasks and processes requiring support from the Team ensuring that they are implemented and continuously performed to the required standards

Provide regular feedback to the internal IT Development Team to ensure the ongoing evolution of Carne’s technology platform to meet the growing regulatory reporting requirements of our Clients

Foster a positive team ethic and support the development and training of staff, when required
