Our client, with over 20 years of environmental planning services, is looking for a Senior Ecologist to help lead their Ecologist team. You're role will consist of: leading fieldwork and ecological surveys, analysing data, and preparing reports. Futhermore you will lead various projects including ornithology, mammals, and general ecology projects. Additionally, you will assist in the delivery of projects, consult with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and work alongside another senior ecologist.
About the company: Our client is one of Ireland’s leading civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancies. They work on Environmental, highways, redidential, commercial etc projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant primary degree in Ecology/Environmental Biology
- Experience drafting EIAR chapters, AA Screening, and NIS reports
- Familiarity with GIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS)
- 5-10 years of experience in the field
