Calibration Technician CREGG seek to recruit a Calibration technician to join Galway's world leading medical device manufacturer. Graduates with calibration experience encouraged to apply. Please email or call to apply. About the role: The position is Galway-based on site working core hours Monday to Friday with a 1pm Friday finish. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within the Calibration field with good communication skills. Responsibilities Perform calibration and verification across a wide and diverse range of production and test equipment, within a manufacturing cleanroom environment or controlled Calibration lab. Independently maintains a daily schedule of work to be performed with minimal supervision within a monthly window. Communicate calibration status with equipment owners and manage on demand worklist. Provides guidance and expertise to equipment owners of calibration processes, methods, and measurement process troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, and production, to address equipment-related concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in the development and implementation of calibration procedures and protocols to optimize equipment performance and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Time served or a recognized course completed in electronic/instrumentation/mechanical or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar technical role preferably in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Quality Management systems including documentation practices and compliance requirements. Proficiency in using calibration software and tools for data entry and record keeping.
