Who are we looking for?
We are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate to join our expanding Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to develop their career in a fast-growing company.

What are the minimum requirements for the role?

- The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ATI) or hold a degree in a related field (Business/finance/economics may be considered in lieu of accounting studies).
- Prior experience in a finance role or within the financial services sector is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel is a requirement for the role. Prior working knowledge of accounting packages, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint is an advantage.

What is your role and responsibilities?

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with others in the finance team, business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Support the finance team in the design and implementation of new processes and structures to enhance business reporting.
- Support transformation activities within the finance function.
- Work with the finance team and business to develop, report and reconcile on plan versus outcome.
- Provide FP&A finance support to the various teams across Carne Group related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
- Partner with the finance team to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Assist in the creation of presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assistance to other key functions within the finance team and cross team cover where required.
