Principal Connections has been retained by a leading food manufacturing business to recruit for the new, important role of Head of Technical. THE POSITION Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Technical will lead the technical and quality functions to ensure that all aspects of food safety, quality and legality for the products manufactured are complied with ensuring that the technical integrity of the site is maintained. The Head of Technical will partner with the senior leadership team and assist in continuing to scale operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Head of Technical will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional product consistency, streamline operations, and implement cutting-edge technologies that support sustainable and profitable growth and customer requirements. REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have significant Technical / Quality experience at a senior level in a complex, multi-functional organisation, in a fast paced, chilled, food manufacturing environment.
