Job Title: Registered Nurse Intellectual Disabilities

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Co. Laois. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Skills and Qualifications

- Valid nursing license and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Proven experience in a hospital setting, preferably in acute care.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
