DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer (Azure) Westmeath As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes that support various engineering teams multi-nationally. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimise development workflows, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Senior DevOps Engineer - Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or comparable tools to automate build, testing, and deployment workflows, ensuring streamlined software delivery. Evaluate, integrate, and manage cutting-edge DevOps tools and technologies, continuously optimizing the development lifecycle and automating operational processes. Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC), leveraging tools such as Terraform or ARM templates to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. Implement effective incident management processes and tools, ensuring rapid response, recovery, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and services. Senior DevOps Engineer Required Experience: 5+ Years of Experience extensive background in Azure DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a proven history of working in cloud-based infrastructures. Deep expertise in managing and deploying applications on Azure, with specialized knowledge in Kubernetes and Docker. Experience in using Git/Bitbucket for version control, along with a solid foundation in Python and Shell Scripting languages (Bash) High levels of Stakeholder engagement is required and with the ability to reliably communicate crucial technical information.
