Job Title: Experienced Bartender Location: Dublin, The Patriots Inn Position Type: Full-Time, must be flexible Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team at The Patriots Inn. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the hospitality industry, possess extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beers, and excel in delivering exceptional customer service. As an Experienced Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Bartending: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and custom orders. Serving food: It will be required to serve food to customers, experience in this area would be an advantage. Customer Service: Provide excellent service to all patrons, engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner, and ensuring a positive experience. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar stock, ensuring adequate supplies of ingredients, glassware, and other essentials; assist in ordering and restocking as needed. Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations; ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and functioning. Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, manage the cash register, and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Menu Development: Collaborate with management to design and update the beverage menu, incorporating seasonal trends and customer preferences. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service and a cohesive team environment. Training: Assist in training junior or new bartenders, sharing knowledge and skills to maintain high standards of service. Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, seeking to resolve them promptly and effectively. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or hotel. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of mixology, wines, spirits, and beers, with the ability to recommend and pair drinks with food. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent organizational abilities; proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), and work in a fast-paced environment.
