The Retail Fulfilment Operations (RFO) team strives to provide cutting-edge innovation and operational excellence to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. RFO transforms Retail Fulfilment (Retail Stores and Online Stores) into a key value proposition for Apple’s direct customers through Planning, Execution, and Strategic Programs. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated candidate with strong analytical abilities. This role requires a combination of business insight and technical knowledge to develop and deliver reporting and analysis that enables rapid decision-making. You will focus on supporting the growth of Apple’s products, routes to market, and critical operations initiatives. This role is highly visible, interacting with partners in operations and retail while networking across Apple’s organisation. The ability to work seamlessly with these teams is crucial for achieving the objectives of the position.

Description

- Work with the Data Science & Advanced Analytics teams on automation & predictive model solutions to create insightful outputs and optimize supply/demand processes.

- Leverage Python, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Anomaly Detection & LLM technologies to innovate and support automation efficiency within Retail Fulfilment Operations team.

- Deliver process automation with BPR & Business Analytics teams globally, focused on enhancing the customer experience and improving service levels.

- Build reporting solutions for both RFO Digital & Store teams. Use tools such as Tableau to create dashboards and data visualisations to enable strategic business decisioning. Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to deliver on data engineering and platform requirements.

- Deep dive into operational data to assess program performance, identify trends and drive opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations across supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, new retail store / product launches, and order management.

- Collaborate with key business partners to understand and amplify the “Voice of the Customer”. Serve as a liaison between online and retail teams in sales, finance, logistics, procurement, and operations teams.

- Drive continuous improvement through shared knowledge and collective action.

Minimum Qualifications

- Ability to evaluate and interpret large data sets, analyse, and present data with meaningful insights. Independently navigate systems and tools with knowledge of relational databases.

- Proficient in using Tableau or similar data visualisation tools to build reports and dashboards for program tracking and performance analysis.

- Experience in post-go-live program management and developing BAU (Business-as-Usual) management systems.

- A team player with a “hands-on” and “can do” attitude that can influence through collaboration and leadership. Being able to work effectively with other teams and taking them along for the journey is critical.

- A curious mindset with exceptional business acumen and the ability to cut through ambiguity with a practical and solutions orientated approach to problem solving.

- Excellent communication and leadership presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Practical experience with and/or theoretical understanding of algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.

- Proficiency with statistical coding languages (e.g. SQL, Python).

- Familiarity with GenAI capabilities and application to supply chain use cases for strategic business impact.

- Passion for research, innovation and enhancing the customer experience.

- Confidence to make critical decisions and deliver results under tight timelines, with flexibility to adapt to the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
