Primary Responsibilities Of The Senior Manager Data Analytics Engage with stakeholders to understand strategic requirements to inform your solutions and delivery
Independently, or with the team, develop data/analytical-driven solutions to deliver tools and analyses that meet requirements
Hands-on development of automated, scalable, robust and well-structured analytical tools and solutions
Be self-directed in interrogating data to shape analyses
Recommend innovative ideas and/or procedures to improve existing strategies
Develop strong working relationships with key partners across the business
Present to audiences of varying organizational roles and hierarchy levels
Engage with and influence stakeholders to ensure solutions and recommendations are integrated into the business and drive value
Work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a project team
People management responsibilities
Required Qualifications Of The Senior Manager Data Analytics Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience (mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, economics, etc)
Extensive experience in analytical roles using SQL and at least one procedural language (e.g., Python, R)
Preferred Qualifications Of The Senior Manager Data Analytics Experience creating visualizations using Tableau or similar to tell a data-driven story and deliver actionable insights
Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management
Experience with Spark / MS Azure
Experience working with transactional data
Ability to evaluate existing business processes, design, communicate, plan and effect change
Soft Skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and teamwork skills
Motivated, change/innovation agent and self-starter
Ability to take ownership and work independently or within teams
Strong communication skills, able to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines
Ability to influence others and achieve common goals
