Core Optimisation is a rapidly growing Digital Marketing and Transformation Agency. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team to work on a new product build. This platform will integrate data from multiple sources. This role will focus on building secure, modular, and scalable backend services that will handle data ingestion, processing, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Development: Lead backend development with a focus on designing a modular, scalable architecture using Microsoft Azure services.

Data Integration: Implement secure data collection from multiple sources via APIs, Webhook integration, ensuring high data integrity.

Data Anonymisation and Security: Work with data sanitization and anonymization to handle sensitive PII, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.

Database Management: Manage and optimize Azure Cosmos DB for efficient storage and retrieval, with attention to data schema design and query optimization.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, data analysts, and project managers.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with expertise in Next.js, shadcn/ui, familiarity with Azure-based services.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, CI/CD pipelines, Bicep

Security & Compliance: Solid understanding of GDPR and experience in data security, anonymization, and hashing techniques, software security scanning techniques.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, with experience in troubleshooting complex integrations and optimizing backend performance.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures.

Preferred:

Experience with business intelligence platforms and familiarity with cloud-based architecture.

Prior experience working in a digital transformation or tourism industry context.
