About the Role: EPS Group have exciting opportunities for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our Operations team. We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Process Environmental Scientist, with a particular focus on those who have experience in the wastewater and drinking water industry. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, self-motivated, and capable of managing their time effectively. Strong communication skills and a good command of the English language are essential, as is the ability to engage professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Travelling to various Water and Wastewater treatment plants throughout the Munster area carrying out operational duties . Working independently and on occasionally with Senior Process Specialists. Conducting inspections, sampling, and analysis of Wastewater and Drinking Water Treatment Plant processes. Troubleshooting and resolving process issues on-site. Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiency measures, with ongoing monitoring. Participating in role-specific training as required. Operating Drinking Water and Wastewater treatment plants as required. Liaising with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, and on-site operators/supervisors. Calibrating laboratory and monitoring equipment. Monitoring and interpreting data from SCADA control systems. Key Competencies and Skills: Proven experience in Wastewater and Water treatment processes is highly desirable. Laboratory analysis skills. Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications: Degree in Environmental Science(or other relevant science/ engineering degree). Further training will be provided. Full Irish Driving Licence. 3-5 years experience in water and wastewater process optimisation. Compensation Package: Competitive salary and benefits package, including a work vehicle and fuel card.
