It offers assessment, diagnosis treatment and follow up services for a wide range of conditions. The Outpatients Department will continue to evolve in line with HSE strategic priorities, national policies and the principles of Slaintecare to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. The Out-Patient Clinical Nurse Manager will be required to maintain and establish effective working relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders within the hospital, community and wider HSE network to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of out-patient services. The purpose of this post is to provide professional and operational leadership for the Outpatients Department, ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient patient care across all specialities. The nurse manager will lead the nursing and non-nursing teams to achieve excellence in service delivery, patient experience and staff engagement in line with HSE policies and National standards. This role will develop in line with service needs as defined by the Director of Nursing and ongoing service developments within the Hospital group. A temporary and permanent panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
