Finance Operations Analyst

This is a broad and hands-on role supporting core financial operations, including reporting, payment processing, supplier reconciliations, and cash management. You’ll also play a key part in optimisation and automation projects, working across various finance processes and interacting with external stakeholders.

Location: Dublin 4 (initially), relocating to Dublin 2
Contract: Permanent
Salary: €50,000+ DOE


The Ideal Finance Operations Analyst


Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (with a Finance emphasis)
Excellent Excel skills (essential)
High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
Comfortable working in a changing and fast-moving environment
Professional and confident when dealing with external contacts
Experience using SAP or similar accounting/ERP systems
Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualisation tools



Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Analyst


Complete daily and routine financial reporting tasks
Support and manage monthly payment runs, including data consolidation, variance analysis, and reporting
Maintenance of data into financial systems
Prepare and perform supplier account reconciliations
Investigate reporting variances and provide analytical insight
Provide analytical and reporting support to the wider finance function
Work across P2P (Procure-to-Pay), Order-to-Cash, and billing processes
Support cash management and treasury tasks
Identify opportunities for, and assist with, process improvement and automation
Communicate with external suppliers and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
