Our client, a leading food company in Dublin West, is looking for a Specifications Technologist to join their Quality team.
Reporting to: Quality Manager
About the role
This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate product specifications, ensuring compliant labelling and ingredient declarations, and handling customer technical queries and complaints. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain high standards across all technical and quality documentation.
Responsibilities Maintain and update product specifications.
Ensure labelling and ingredient declarations meet legal requirements.
Handle and resolve customer complaints.
Work with suppliers to gather technical and raw material data.
Support NPD, Commercial, and Quality teams with product launches.
What you’ll need A degree in Food Science or related discipline.
5+ years experience, working with customer complaints, technical queries and specifications
Experience in food manufacturing in a quality or technical role.
Good knowledge of product specifications and food labelling legislation.
Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong organisation and IT skills.
