Are you a renewables-focused project manager who cares about sustainability? Our client, a leading public-sector organisation driving Irelands renewable energy and sustainability goals, is seeking a Project Manager Renewables to join its Public Sector Energy and Climate Services team. This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in national energy-efficiency and decarbonisation projects that directly support Irelands climate commitments. Project Manager Renewables Salary:€52,026 18 month contract Location Dublin (HQ), Cork, Sligo or Dundalk hybrid model (minimum two days on site) Salary €52,026 per annum (public-sector scale) Contract 18-month fixed-term, full-time (35-hour week) Key Responsibilities Lead and support renewable-energy and sustainability projects across the public sector. Plan, coordinate and monitor multiple workstreams in energy-efficiency, retro-commissioning, and low-carbon design. Evaluate project outcomes, track progress, and ensure compliance with technical and financial standards. Liaise with public bodies, consultants, and technical partners to deliver measurable energy savings and emissions reductions. Prepare reports, data analysis and case studies highlighting programme performance and impact. Support the development of training, guidance materials, webinars, and stakeholder communications. Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences and public-sector sustainability events. Essential Requirements Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Building Services, or Energy-related discipline. Minimum three years relevant experience in sustainability, energy management or building-performance projects (postgraduate study may count). Proven project-management and stakeholder-engagement skills. Strong analytical and reporting ability, with attention to data and technical detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of public-sector operations and Irelands climate and renewables policy landscape. Desirable Requirements Project-management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent). Experience in renewables, decarbonisation or retrofit programmes. Familiarity with EU Directives, Irish Building Regulations, or energy-efficiency standards. Budgeting and procurement experience.
