Food Production General Operative

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Food Production General Operative to help ensure the smooth running of Corporate Canteen meal preparation operations within Compass Group Ireland. This is a part-time role, contracted to 15 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday, during morning early afternoon hours. With potential to work extra hours as and when the business requires. As a Food Production General Operative, you will play a vital role in reheating and preparing meals for office executives, ensuring food is served safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Here's what you need to know before applying: Your key responsibilities will include: Safely reheat and prepare meals Ensure all meals are served at the correct temperature and within service times Follow strict food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety practices Keep preparation and service areas clean, tidy, and compliant with regulations Assist with unpacking deliveries, storing food correctly, and stock rotation Work to daily schedules and production targets set by your Supervisor/Manager Undertake other kitchen or service duties as required to support the team Our ideal Food Production General Operative will: Be a team player who is reliable and committed Work efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards Have good attention to detail and follow instructions accurately Be able to use their own initiative and work independently when needed Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors Bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to every shift At Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
