INFORM3 RECRUITMENT Senior Civil Engineer Job Location: Galway/Hybrid options Sector: Civil Inform3 are currently recruiting for a senior civil engineer to join their long-established team to work on a road design project based in Galway. The client is seeking candidates with Chartered Membership of Engineers Ireland and at least 8 years experience. Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities: Lead delivery of road design projects, including realignments and active travel schemes. Act as RSA Team Leader, ensuring Road Safety Audits comply with Irish standards and legislation. Manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. Prepare and review designs, reports, specifications, and tender documentation. Coordinate with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, representing TOBIN in meetings. Conduct site visits and prepare associated inspection and progress reports. Support procurement activities, including site investigation contracts and pricing schedules. Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical growth and team capability. Ensure compliance with quality assurance, health & safety, and industry best practices. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting proposal preparation. Senior Civil Engineer Specification: Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree 8 years+ similar experience Understanding of Irish road safety standards RSA Team Leader accreditation Civil 3D and AutoCAD knowledge Chartered Membership of Engineers Ireland is essential. Extremely motivated and driven to succeed Strong numeracy skills The client works for top, blue-chip clients & have high expectation of staff to be highly motivated and results driven.
