Role: Rigid Driver Salary: €42,000 - €45,000 per year Duration: Full-time, Permanent Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin Rigid Driver Excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rigid Driver to join a well-established logistics company in Blanchardstown. This role offers a structured Monday-to-Friday schedule, ensuring a work-life balance while delivering palletised loads to warehouses. The position requires a reliable and professional driver with a strong understanding of transport regulations and excellent customer service skills. The role is ideal for those with a valid rigid license, strong organisational skills, and a professional approach to handling goods. A counterbalance forklift certificate would be a distinct advantage, enabling flexibility within the warehouse environment when required. Responsibilities: Deliver palletised loads to warehouses efficiently and safely. Adhere to all transport and road safety regulations. Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with customer requirements. Conduct vehicle checks before and after each shift to maintain roadworthiness. Assist in loading and unloading goods when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure paperwork is completed correctly. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally. Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues on the road. Requirements: Full, clean Rigid (Category C) driving licence. Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and up-to-date tachograph card. Experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Irish road networks and routes. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. A counterbalance forklift certificate would be a clear advantage.
