About the Role: We are thrilled to announce that, due to the award of multiple contracts with a leading Irish utility provider, we have several exciting roles to fill in our MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company where you will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects (Water & Wastewater) across Ireland. As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants and various pumping stations. No two days will be the same, so your activities will vary and will be agreed with the Contracts Manager on an ongoing basis. You will support the design team through the process up to and including the onsite installation and commissioning. The roles on offer, are office, site and a mixture of both depending on location and project involved. Key Responsibilities: Project management of all aspects ofwaterandwastewaterpumping and treatment installations primarily focused onMechanical/Electrical/ICArequirements with minorcivilworks included Co-ordinatingsafetyandliaisingwith EPS Group HSQE Dept Supportingthe design team in delivering innovative solutions & using modern technologies Procurementof all items required for project delivery Creating theproject program and ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handover Liaising & coordinatingall works with the client and relevant stakeholders Managementof all site labour including subcontractors Ensuring projects are completedsafely, on time and within budget Writing engineeringreports,method statements and commissioning schedules Responsible for all O&M and Health & Safety documentation and enforcement of safe work practices onsite during all site installations Key Competencies and Skills: Have proven experience in an engineering role in aMechanical & Electricalenvironment Proficiency in PC skills to include MS office and Project software is advantageous Good inter-personal and communication skills Strong engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines Qualifications: Third level Mechanical/ Electrical or Automation Engineering degree Similar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered Full EU/ Irish driving licence Compensation Package: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth CPD accredited employer A collaborative and supportive work environment Laptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided Flexible working options, dependent on location and role requirements See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group Wewelcomespeculativeapplicationsfromindividualsofalllevels.
