Maintenance Technician - West Dublin Overview We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations at a large food group's cutting-edge bakery in west Dublin. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, automated environment, ideal for someone with strong electrical engineering skills and a knack for mechanical problem-solving. You'll work on a continental shift pattern, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Lead maintenance engineering activities during your shift. Diagnose and repair equipment to the highest standards. Log all work in SAP and contribute to shift reports. Implement permanent fixes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure health & safety compliance across maintenance operations. Collaborate with teams on technical projects and equipment installations. Support refrigeration plant maintenance when required. Criteria Qualified Electrical Engineer with solid mechanical skills. Proficient in using multimeters and reading electrical schematics. Experience in automated factory environments; food/refrigeration a plus. Strong communicator, self-motivated, and a team player. Comfortable with shift work, call-outs, and overtime. Computer literate (SAP, Microsoft Office).
