Director/Sr Director EHS & Security Role Summary

The Director/Sr Director EHS & Security will be responsible for overseeing Health, Safety, Environmental and Security operations to ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Driving safety culture, programs, and behavioral awareness
  • Developing policy, programs, direction, and coordinating the activity of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Security teams
  • Reporting EHS and Security metrics to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Driving organisational development and changes
  • Ensuring emergency planning and risk management occurs for sites
  • Reviewing and revising compliance documents pertaining to EHS and security issues
  • Directing, reviewing, and approving all regulatory compliance documentation and reports generated by EHS
  • Liaising between local and national emergency response and planning organizations
Requirements:
  • A BS Degree or higher in a relevant discipline
  • 10+ years (Director level) or 15+ years (Sr Director level) of relevant experience working in a Health and Safety management role in an operational regulated manufacturing facility
  • Supervisory/leadership experience within a regulated environment and experience interacting with national and local regulatory agencies
