Hotel Manager Location: Salthill Hotel, Salthill, Galway, Ireland Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Salthill Hotel is a prestigious 4-star hotel located on the stunning coastline of Galway Bay. Renowned for our exceptional service and luxurious amenities, we take pride in providing our guests with an unforgettable experience. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to join our management team and help us maintain the high standards of service and hospitality that define the Salthill Hotel. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the overall management and coordination of hotel operations. Supervise and support department managers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Monitor staff performance, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards. Manage inventory, budgets, and financial records related to hotel operations. Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among staff. Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
