We are seeking a Senior Credit & Collections Specialist to join our client, a global life science company in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a large and growing debtors listing, focusing on minimizing debt and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Timely and efficient follow-up on due and overdue accounts and payments.
- Issue written correspondence to customers, including reminder letters and monthly statements.
- Determine credit limits based on credit policy, credit ratings, financials, and payment history.
- Assess credit risk by interpreting financials and make recommendations.
- Liaise with internal teams to confirm customer details and resolve billing queries.
- Support the preparation of monthly management reports on DSO, cash flow, and aging analysis.
- Strong collections experience, credit review, or credit risk background.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with Oracle and/or SAP is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a global team environment.
