Overview Our client is expanding and is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join their growing team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across multiple projects, ensuring design information is managed efficiently and accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in line with project and company requirements.
Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring clash detection, model integrity, and design quality.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate BIM into design, construction, and handover processes.
Facilitate the adoption of BIM across the team, providing training and guidance where required.
Maintain and update project documentation, including BIM execution plans (BEP) and model audits.
Support project delivery through visualization, coordination meetings, and production of accurate drawings and reports.
Liaise with clients and external consultants regarding BIM requirements and deliverables.
Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator in the construction, engineering, or architectural sector.
Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Solibri.
Understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination and clash detection processes.
Familiarity with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and project workflows.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, or healthcare projects.
Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for BIM.
Certification in BIM management or coordination.
