Our client, a leading organisation is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work as a true business partner - driving insights, influencing decisions, and improving performance across key operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic business partner, providing data-led insights to support commercial decision-making

- Ensure integrity and consistency of operational data across multiple systems and reporting tools

- Maintain and enhance operational dashboards and trend analysis tools

- Develop and monitor key performance metrics

- Track and control key cost drivers

- Evaluate and support optimisation initiatives and capital investment (CapEx) projects from a financial perspective

- Identify areas for continuous improvement, supporting a /"Lean/" operational agenda

- Contribute to cross-functional and cross-country project teams

Key Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within a manufacturing or production-based environment

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and influence stakeholders

- Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial systems

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

- Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense), and operational systems is advantageous
