Leading organisation in the Baldonnell area is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join its dynamic logistics and distribution team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured warehouse environment and has a working understanding of automotive or truck parts. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team responsible for managing the intake, storage, and dispatch of stock to ensure the timely and accurate supply of critical components to various departments and external customers. Previous warehouse experience is essential, and familiarity with parts identification, inventory systems, and health and safety procedures will be highly regarded. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries in line with warehouse procedures Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch using stock management systems Organise and maintain stock locations to ensure efficient retrieval and minimal downtime Handle motor and truck parts with care, ensuring correct labelling and documentation Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits as required Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain cleanliness across all work areas Collaborate with the logistics and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the warehouse supervisor Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse Requirements: Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment Knowledge of motor, truck, or automotive parts is essential Good IT skills, particularly with inventory management systems or handheld scanners Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items when required Forklift certification (counterbalance or reach) is essential Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Full rights to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Baldonnell, offering stability, a competitive salary, and the chance to be part of a well-run operation with a strong reputation in the logistics and motor parts industry.
