Exyte are now recruiting for an Senior Process Engineer to provide design and engineering expertise during the planning and execution of design projects within Exyte’s Biopharma & Life Science business unit within Northern Europe & Israel.

The succesful candidate can be based in either our Cork or Maynooth offices.

From GMP and GLP laboratories to manufacturing pharmacies, clinics, and institutions, Exyte is a firmly established trusted industry partner from consulting and planning to turnkey realization and validation of high-tech facilities.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Collaboration with client design team/end user

- Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers

- Delivery of agreed process design scope within budgeted hours and schedule

- Assist with technical and safety reviews, provide technical input and support to Process design team

- Development of process solutions and process calculations e.g. hydraulic calculations and relief device sizing

- Design of process and utilities including preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations

- Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices

- Support development of corporate and discipline specific procedures and policies

- Regular collaboration with global engineering

Show your expertise

Essential

- Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering Degree

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering and design as facilities/plant engineer or consulting engineer within biopharma, life science or related projects

- Required to be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communications

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Willingness for occasional travel

Desirable

Driving Licence + own transport
