Transaction Monitoring & Payments Screening Analyst

We’re looking for a Transaction Monitoring & Payments Screening Analyst to join the Compliance Operations team. This role leads the design and execution of transaction monitoring and payment screening processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

This role supports the design, execution, and continuous improvement of transaction monitoring and payment screening processes. You will work closely with the Regulatory Compliance team to help interpret and apply rules that identify potentially suspicious activity.

You’ll assist in investigations, contribute to the development of procedures, and ensure alerts are reviewed and escalated appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, testing, and refinement of transaction monitoring rules and payment screening processes.

- Conduct initial investigations into alerts and elevate cases in line with established procedures.

- Collaborate with Compliance and Product teams to support the effectiveness of financial crime controls.

- Help maintain and update operational procedures and training materials.

- Work with offshore teams to ensure consistent investigation standards.

- Monitor alert queues and ensure timely review and resolution.

- Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

- Track and report on alert volumes, trends, and team productivity.

- Stay informed on emerging financial crime risks and typologies.

- Support audits and regulatory requests as needed.

This is a fixed term contract full time position located in Dublin. Expectations regarding hybrid working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
