Responsibilities:

- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies to support recovery and improve quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- CORU registration required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
