Mechanical Estimator We are currently recruiting an Mechanical Estimator for a leading engineering services company. This role is within our Fire Protection Division and involves tendering major projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe with some travel and hybrid work flexibility. Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end tendering process for large-scale mechanical projects Review and interpret tender documents, including drawings, specifications and schedules Liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information Analyse and validate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance Issue and track Requests for Information and review responses with the estimating team Prepare detailed tender reports and progress updates for senior management review Handover final estimates to the Group Estimating Manager and Director Attend relevant meetings and site visits when required Requirements: 3 to 5 years experience in a mechanical estimating or similar role This Mechanical Estimator will need a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and other estimating tools Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills Salary: Salary €75,000 - €95,000 DOE Pension Vehicle allowance 25 Days Annual Leave CPD support Full Benefits package on application If you are an Mechanical Estimator who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate OHerlihy or call for a confidential discussion.
