Voxbet are a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) provider to the Sports betting industry. We work with the biggest brands across Europe and further afield. To date we have processed over €1bn of bets on our platform.

Our business continues to innovate and grow as we add to our product range. Our most recent innovation allows bet builders to be spoken, thus reducing the time to place a bet builder from several minutes to under 10 seconds. We need highly motivated and experienced people to help us continue to grow and innovate.

At present we are looking for Senior Java Engineers to join our agile team in Dublin (West). This is a 100% hands-on role for a team player with keen interests in delivering code and seeing it used almost immediately.

Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland without restriction and regard spending most of the working week collaborating with colleagues in an office environment as a positive.

Desired qualifications, skills and experience:

- 5+ years of commercial Java/J2EE server-side development experience.
- In-depth experience of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs and relational databases.
- Experience of full stack, reactive web UI, native apps, all advantageous.
- Very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Role Functions:

- Extensive experience in Java/J2EE back-end design and development.
- Collaborate with customers and management, all stages; requirements through to delivery.
- Design and implement high quality, secure, scalable and performant solutions.
- Methodical in-depth testing at all stages from unit test, technical, through to system testing.
- Investigate and resolve issues. Excel at problem solving and perform under pressure.
- Contribute to the engineering, frameworks, tools, and practices of the software development.
- Automate and administer development, build, test and release tools and utilities.

Skills:

- 5+ years Java/J2EE – Third level qualification – Spring – Hibernate
