Overview General Operator — We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Delivery Associate. This role requires a blend of organizational skills, independent work capability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, maintaining the warehouse, and performing small deliveries across the country.
Key Responsibilities Stock Management & Warehouse Upkeep: Efficiently manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and orderly. Perform regular stock checks and audits to prevent discrepancies.
Deliveries: Make small deliveries across the country as required, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.
Handling and transporting goods with care, ensuring they arrive in the same condition as left.
Work Ethic & Initiative: Demonstrate a strong work ethic by taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities. Work independently, using initiative to solve problems and make decisions without constant supervision.
Flexibility & Adaptability: Exhibit a willingness to be flexible, adjusting to changing priorities and tasks as needed. Be prepared to work outside of standard hours if required to meet deadlines or accommodate urgent deliveries.
Time Management & Organization: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for both warehouse tasks and delivery schedules. Prioritize tasks to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
Reporting Structure: Report directly to the Project Director and Senior Service Engineer, providing regular updates on inventory, warehouse status, and delivery schedules.
Work Hours: Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Qualifications Full Driver’s Licence (Category B): A valid and clean Category B driver's license is required for this role, as you will be responsible for making deliveries across the country.
