Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – Mullingar

About the Practice

This busy mixed practice in Mullingar is just 45 minutes from Dublin and easily accessible via public transport. The team consists of 4 full-time vets, 2 part-time vets, 4 veterinary nurses, and 3 support staff. They are proud of their cohesive, supportive culture where teamwork is at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

This is a truly mixed role with a varied caseload across small and large animals. You'll gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while contributing to a practice that values development, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

What We're Looking For

- VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to work in Ireland.
- Small animal skills: confident in first opinion and routine procedures.
- Large animal skills: competent in calving/sections and farm calls.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience.
- A proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to veterinary medicine.

The Package

- Salary up to €65,000 DOE.
- 22 days annual leave + your birthday off.
- €1300 CPD allowance + 5 paid CPD days.
- Funding for further qualifications (Certificates, Diplomas, PhDs).
- VCI membership and VDS cover included.
