Summary:

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Web Applications Developer (PowerApps) to join a dynamic team delivering innovative technology solutions that make a real impact.

This role will see you working on business-critical applications, developing new solutions, optimising existing systems, and supporting end users with high-quality, user-focused services.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven).

· Integrate PowerApps with external data sources (Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, third-party applications).

· Build automation workflows with Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop.

· Develop and maintain PowerApps components, custom connectors, and UI enhancements.

· Troubleshoot, optimise, and provide 3rd-level support for PowerApps and RPA solutions.

· Collaborate with business users, analysts, and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

· Ensure governance, compliance, and security best practices across the Power Platform environment.

· Maintain solution documentation (architecture, infrastructure, service desk runbooks).

· Deliver training, guidance, and support to colleagues and end users on PowerApps and automation solutions.

· Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and recommend innovative improvements.

Requirements:

· 4–6 years’ professional experience in applications development (intermediate level).

· Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) with computing/computational modules.

· Strong hands-on experience with PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps).

· Proficiency in Power Automate (Flows & Desktop) for process automation.

· Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dynamics 365.

· Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management).

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

· Understanding of security models, user roles, and permissions within Power Platform.

· Skills in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS for UI customisation.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is an advantage.

The contract is 12 months initially, with the option to extend for up to two further 12-month periods (potential total of 36 months)
