We are seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper in our Waterford City office.
Responsibilities Assisting with accounts preparations & tax returns for clients
Data entry
Bank reconciliation
VAT & RCT returns
Payroll
Miscellaneous duties as required
Candidate Profile / Qualifications 2-3 years experience in practice (Essential)
Confident with figures and have good computer skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients
Flexible and well organized
Natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
Previous use of Bright Software / Sage / AutoEntry is an advantage
Ability to deal with client queries related to the above
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Fluent written and spoken English is essential

Details Location: Waterford City
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week (in office). Mon-Thu 8:30-17:00; Friday 8:30-14:00
