At BT Sourced, we're seeking more than just a Senior Data Scientist; we're on the lookout for an innovator, a strategic thinker, and a visionary leader.

Why this role matters

BT Sourced are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help the team derive insights from our data landscape. You will join an established team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers, supporting the existing and future pipeline of AI services.

This role will be responsible for independently developing end-to-end AI/analytical solutions to improve business processes and generate insights within the Company.

What you'll be doing

- Transform business opportunities into actionable analytical products that drive strategic decisions.
- Design innovative analytical solutions and develop robust algorithms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Oversee the delivery of production analytical solutions throughout various stages of the development lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices.
- Create and maintain experimental notebooks, production pipelines, and dashboards tailored to project needs and assigned tasks.
- Define and document solution requirements in compliance with internal governance standards.
- Foster and enhance a data science culture and strategy that positions BT Sourced as a leader in AI within the procurement industry.

The skills you'll need

- Experience: 5+ years in a Data Science role with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a business context.
- Technical Skills:

- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and the development of end-to-end ML pipelines.

- Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering and deploying generative AI models.

- Proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

- Analytical Skills: Experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong aptitude for working in cross-functional teams.
- Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with a Master's Degree being highly preferred.
