We are seeking a Content Executive Producer to join our Programming team. Reporting to the Head of Commissioning, the successful candidate will oversee editorial content across various productions, develop new content strategies, manage partnerships, and contribute to long-term departmental planning. The role involves driving creative development, managing budgets, and ensuring content aligns with our values and audience needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee editorial content of internal and external productions, ensuring quality and adherence to Virgin Media’s values.
2. Source new content ideas, develop formats, and shape future strategies.
3. Create engaging content opportunities from our studios that support our public service remit.
4. Manage content delivery timelines and budgets.
5. Coordinate marketing and messaging for key properties.
6. Develop content for emerging platforms like Virgin Media Play.
7. Approve key AFC projects and collaborate with commercial teams for brand-aligned content.
8. Oversee seasonal launches, content events, and studio collaborations.
9. Manage budgets, production models, and legal contracts.
10. Supervise content and admin teams for seamless delivery.

Skills & Experience:

- Exceptional editorial skills with a deep understanding of Virgin Media’s audience and values.
- Proven track record in multi-genre content development and delivery.
- Strategic planning and long-term vision implementation.
- Experience in the independent sector and commissioning models.
- Leadership experience, stakeholder collaboration, and team building.
- Ability to adapt and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Strong production and budget management skills.
- Understanding of Public Service Broadcasting obligations.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in long-form broadcast content production.
